Smiles for Hope

Amanda Orvis, RDH

Announcing the kick-off of our annual Smiles for Hope Whitening Campaign.

Once again, our office has partnered with Hope Arising Charity Foundation. Hope Arising is a non-profit organization that benefits children and families in Dera Ethiopia. Through our partnership with this amazing organization we are able to help provide dental and medical services, as well as education opportunities for hundreds of children and families in Dera every year.

March 1st through June 30th all whitening procedures done in our office will be provided at a discounted rate, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Hope Arising Charity Foundation. All donations are tax-deductible.

Donation Levels:

Level 1: In-office whitening and take-home whitening gel with custom fit trays

Level 2: In-office whitening

Level 3: Take-home whitening gel and custom fit trays

Level 4: Flat donation of your choice

Hope Arising has two ways you can donate: via credit card through PayPal, or by check

You do not have to be a patient of record at our office to participate in this campaign. All we require is a quick exam to make sure the whitening participant is safe to whiten.

Your bright white smile can make a lasting impression on Dera through your donations and support. So, call us today to schedule your whitening appointment!

AZ Mission of Mercy

Nora Torres, RDH

                    AZ Mission of Mercy (MOM)

What a great experience to be able to participate in this great event! This was my first year volunteering and I am already looking forward to next year. Our dental staff has been a part of this for at least 4 years!

AZ MOM is held at the AZ state fairgrounds in Phoenix. This year it was held on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10. It has been going on since 1994 volunteers provide not only free dental care but also free healthcare, prescription medications to the uninsured and under-insured.

AZ MOM has several clinics in Arizona, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Texas. There are six locations across the Valley. In Arizona they have “provided over 200,000 patient visits and 300,000 free prescription medications for the most vulnerable in our community.”

You do not have to be in the health care field to volunteer your time. Help is always needed and appreciated. You can assist in checking patients in, transferring them to their next location, and translators are always needed.

“To provide charitable dental care and education to Arizonans, reducing health risks and suffering for those in need.”

Make a Donation

It is tax deductible! “For every $2.00 donation we receive, we are able to give $16.00 of desperately needed care.”
